Dona Maria John

Dona is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia where she works on the project “The Impact of Cool Roofs on Energy Consumption, Thermal Comfort and Learning Outcomes: A Pilot Study in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala”.

Prior to this project she worked on "Diffusion of Machine-harvestable Chickpeas and Implications for Labor Markets in India", a randomised evaluation based out of Andhra Pradesh.

Before joining J-PAL, she has worked as a Research Associate at Centre for Development Studies (JNU), Azim Premji University and University of Kerala. During her masters, she interned with NABARD.

Dona has completed her Masters in Applied Economics from Centre for Development Studies (JNU) and Bachelors in Economics from Madras Christian College.
