Veena Jayaram

Veena is the senior manager at the Research Operations vertical. She has around 11 years of research experience in diverse social sectors in India and West Africa. Veena has worked in multiple fields including education, health & nutrition, social protection, gender, financial inclusion, livelihoods and community participation. 

Veena's interests lie in evidence-based actions for policy advocacy and programming through rigorous scientific enquiry. She holds a Bachelors in Engineering and is a Post Graduate from IRMA (Institute for Rural Management, Anand). Veena joined J-PAL South Asia in 2022.
