Myriam-Morenike Djossou
Senior Policy Associate, J‑PAL Afrique
Myriam-Morênikê Djossou is a Senior Policy Associate at J-PAL Africa, where she works on the Girls' Education and Empowerment portfolio. In this role, she collaborates with policymakers, practitioners, and other stakeholders to promote girls’ education through evidence-based policies.
Before joining J-PAL, Myriam-Morênikê served as a ministerial advisor in the Canadian government. In her most recent position as Policy Advisor to the Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth, she played a leading role in promoting the use of an intersectional feminist lens in policymaking across the government.
She holds a BA (Honours) in Political Studies and Psychology from Queen's University (Canada), a Master of Public Policy, and an MSc in Public Policy Research from the University of Oxford.
