Sachit Manoj Deshmukh
Policy Associate, J-PAL South Asia
Sachit is working at the Policy Vertical of J-PAL South Asia on one of the scale-up projects called Math Games. Math Games is an early child curriculum of mathematics that strengthens formal math abilities by utilizing innate cognitive skills of children in the age group of 4 to 6 years. As a policy associate, Sachit is working on the scale-up of math games through a novel initiative of an NGO Cascade of implementing organizations to take Math Games to nationwide government classrooms.
Sachit holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fergusson College, Pune, and has learned Mandarin language from YinYang Center for Chinese Language, Pune. They have conducted Mandarin teaching batches for diverse age groups in private classrooms as well as school classrooms.
