Hady Aly
Research Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Hady Aly is a Research Associate at J-PAL MENA where he works on the impact evaluation of the Targeting the Ultra-Poor project in Egypt; a replication of the BRAC graduation approach.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2024, he was an undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Chicago’s Consortium on School Research, where he was analyzing administrative data as part of the To&Through project.
Hady was awarded a Sawiris-Scholarship to pursue his studies at the University of Chicago, where he completed his bachelor in Economics. Hady was part of a Careers-in-Education selective cohort.
