Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.

Senior Research Operations Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Hind Abo Almajd is a Senior Research Operations Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa. She is currently working on the evaluation of the impact of subsidizing access to nurseries and improving employment services on mothers' labor market outcomes and early childhood development. The program is implemented by the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity.
In 2019, Hind graduated from Cairo University's Faculty of Arts, Department of Sociology, and she is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Studies in Women's Refugees at Cairo University.
