Tania Barham is an associate professor of economics at the University of Colorado Boulder. She also serves as the director of the Health and Society program at the Institute of Behavioral Science. Her research examines issues in health, development, migration, and labor economics, including the generational impact of policies on individuals living in poverty. Tania has explored the influence of childhood poverty reduction programs in countries including Mexico, Nicaragua, and Bangladesh in collaboration with multilateral institutions, state and national governments, and NGOs.
Tania received a PhD in economics from University of California Berkeley.
