Nanditha P Valsan

Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia
Nanditha is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia, where she contributes to the evaluation and implementation of Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana (SJY), a livelihoods program under Bihar’s Rural Livelihoods Mission. SJY follows the “graduation approach to poverty”, aiming to uplift the most vulnerable households through a comprehensive set of interventions.
Before joining J-PAL, Nanditha worked as a Short-Term Technical Consultant at the World Bank, India, where she assisted in research on social protection schemes in Kerala.
She holds a master's degree in Economics from Azim Premji University, Bangalore, and a bachelor's degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi.
