Nana Touré Teillard

Nana Touré Teillard joined J-PAL Africa in 2025 as a Policy Manager, leading efforts to scale evidence-based health interventions across sub-Saharan Africa. She forges strategic partnerships with governments, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders while overseeing program design, piloting, and implementation. Passionate about leveraging data and evidence to inform policy, Nana fosters collaboration to drive innovative and sustainable health solutions.
With over a decade of experience in international development, Nana has designed, implemented, and managed health and development programs across Africa. She began her career as a Health Volunteer with the Peace Corps and later served as a United Nations Volunteer with the World Health Organization, deepening her commitment to advancing health equity and sustainable development.
Nana has worked extensively with NGOs, government ministries, and private sector partners to address complex health challenges. She has led impactful initiatives in maternal and neonatal health (MNH), water and sanitation (WASH), and infectious disease prevention, including HIV, malaria, cholera, and Ebola.
