LAC Early work seminars: Labor markets
J-PAL Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is thrilled to announce the first session of our “Early Work Seminars,” dedicated to fostering the generation of scientific evidence in the fight against poverty, by promoting and supporting the research of scholars working on randomized impact evaluations in the region.
These hands-on sessions are designed to provide an academic forum where researchers can present their early work in randomized evaluations, and receive valuable feedback from scholars within the J-PAL LAC network.
The first session will focus on labor markets and be held on July 26 online, at 9 am CLT. It will be hosted by J-PAL LAC Co-Scientific Director Jeanne Lafortune (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) and J-PAL invited researcher Gabriel Ulyssea (University College London). It is co-organized by the Millennium Nucleus on the Evolution of Work.
