Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.
Our research, policy, and training work is fundamentally better when it is informed by a broad range of perspectives.
J-PAL Latinoamérica y el Caribe (LAC) y la Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (UVG) llevarán a cabo un ciclo de dos webinars en julio y agosto para compartir evidencia sobre evaluaciones de programas enfocados en el desarrollo infantil temprano.
La segunda conferencia, “Investigación sobre desarrollo infantil temprano: Evidencia en Latinoamérica y el Caribe”, ofrecida por Claudia Macías, subdirectora ejecutiva de J-PAL LAC, tendrá lugar el jueves 8 de agosto a las 9.00 AM (CST), y será transmitida en línea.
En este webinar, Claudia Macías presentará evidencia local actualizada proveniente de evaluaciones que buscan mejorar el desarrollo infantil temprano. El evento forma parte del proyecto “Fortaleciendo medios de vida a través de evidencia en Centroamérica”, y está dirigido a organizaciones que implementan proyectos en torno al desarrollo infantil temprano, educación y agencia económica en Centroamérica.
