Alice Yao

Alice is a summer intern in the Policy and Communications team, where she will work to manage and analyze data from J-PAL’s research globally and conduct literature reviews relevant to MIT and J-PAL-affiliated research regarding poverty alleviation.

Alice is a rising senior at Wellesley College, majoring in Economics, she spent her junior year studying abroad at the University of Cambridge in the UK, where she completed research and dissertation work in the fields of Developmental and Political Economics.
