Sayanti Sur
Fellow, J-PAL South Asia
Sayanti Sur is a YLP Fellow at J-PAL South Asia based in Bhopal and works in the project Gender and Politics (GAP): Disconnected and Uninformed: Dissecting and Dismantling India’s Gender Gap in Political and Social Empowerment in Madhya Pradesh. She manages the responsibilities of implementation of the RCT - a particularly challenging project with complex and highly integrated intervention and multiple surveys with a high quality organization as well as higher order project management responsibilities.
Prior to joining J-PAL South Asia in 2018, she worked with NGOs like PRADAN, Ramakrishna Mission Home of Service, UP, and others in the areas of Women’s and Community Health and Health Education, Governance. Sayanti has significant grass-roots experience in facilitating capacity building initiatives, knowledge translation, and consulting services.
Sayanti holds Double Master's in Development Practice from Ambedkar University Delhi and Integrated Rural Development and Management from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, Narendrapur, Kolkata.
