Anchored by a network of more than 1,000 researchers at universities around the world, J-PAL conducts randomized impact evaluations to answer critical questions in the fight against poverty.

Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.
Our research, policy, and training work is fundamentally better when it is informed by a broad range of perspectives.
HR Associate, J-PAL South Asia
Prerna Meshram is an HR Associate at J-PAL South Asia where she takes care of recruitment activities like test administrations along with interview scheduling, candidate engagement and supports with recruitment outreach activities.
Prerna holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, from Mumbai University. She has over 4 years of experience in background verification with international clients, recruitment research, customer engagement and as a relationship manager in Mumbai itself.
Over the course of time, she realized that her interests lie in interacting and engaging with people, and to learn more about HR functions. Hence found great opportunity with J-PAL South Asia to start her learning journey as an HR Intern for a period of 3 months.
She joined J-PAL South Asia in 2022.
