Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.

Grants Manager, J-PAL South Asia
Beenu Rawat is a Finance Manager at J-PAL South Asia, where she handles the financial and grant management of the office, specifically including: management of donor association, accessing financial performance of projects, and handling J-PAL sub-contracts. Through her previous professional responsibilities at the Sama Resource Group for Women and Health and Population Services International (PSI), she brings rich experience of working at both national and international organizations, as well as a comprehensive understanding of both financial and programmatic area(s) of project(s). Beenu is a graduate in Commerce from the University of Delhi and is pursuing her MBA in Finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
